Anchor Groups
An Anchor Group is a group of two or three people who meet weekly, for about one hour each week, to discuss their daily Bible reading/devotions, to pray for one another, and to pray for friends of group members who don't yet trust Jesus for salvation.
Everyone in the group should follow the same Bible reading schedule so they all come to the meeting having read and reflected on the same parts of the Bible that week. We have a reading plan and devotional journal available to download here.
Anchor Groups can also help the members of the group by providing an opportunity for accountability and encouragement in the face of the many temptations common to all Christians. More information about Anchor Groups (also called Life Transformation Groups), including a list of accountability questions used in many groups, can be found here and here.
