About Grace Chapel

What kind of church is Grace Chapel?
Grace Chapel is an Evangelical, Pentecostal church. We are part of the Foursquare family of churches and we believe and teach the historic truths of the Christian faith. You can read our statement of belief here.

Who is the pastor of Grace Chapel?
Richard Casteel is the Senior Pastor of Grace Chapel. Go to Pastor Richard's Bio Page for more information.

When does Grace Chapel meet?
We start our Sunday mornings with a time of prayer at 9 AM. Our main Sunday morning service, the Celebration Service, begins at 10 AM. We also have a teen service that begins at 10 AM. Our Sunday Spanish service begins at 12:30 PM. In addition to these, many different classes and small groups meet throughout the week - both on and off campus. See the Weekly Meetings Page and News and Events Page for more information.

What are the Sunday services like?
At our 9 AM Breakthrough Prayer meetings we sing a few songs together and then spend the rest of the time praying alone and in small groups. We pray for the needs of those around us, for the morning's service, and for requests brought to us by the pastor. Our 10 AM Celebration Services include inspirational praise and worship and practical teaching. Find links to free audio files of our sermons here and our podcast page here.

How long do the Sunday services last?
Our 9 AM Breakthrough Prayer meeting lasts for about 45. The 10 AM Sunday Celebration Service and Collision Teen Church last for approximately 90 minutes.

What should I wear?
Casual clothes are the norm at Grace Chapel. We wear anything from blue jeans to business casual. You can wear a tie if you like, but you sure don't have to.

If I visit on Sunday, will I be singled out in any way?
You are our guest when you visit Grace Chapel and we won't do anything to cause you embarassment. You won't be asked to say anything or give anything. We would love for you to fill out a visitor's card, but you certainly don't have to. We will be available after the service at a visitor reception to answer any questions you have and to show you around the facility if you want us to.

What will my kids do on Sunday mornings?
We provide loving and safe environments for your children to play and learn during the Sunday morning Celebration Service. Our nursery, for infants though kindergarteners, opens at 9:45 AM on Sundays. Children in 1st - 6th grades are dismissed to their Kids Church service before the morning sermon. 5th - 7th graders are dismissed to their class, The Bridge, at this time as well. Junior and senior high students are invited to check out Collision Teen Church at 10 AM.

What else can my kids do at Grace Chapel?
In addition to what happens on Sunday mornings, we provide your children with other opportunities for fun, friendship building, and Christian growth. Find a listing of kid activities here.
Youth For Truth, our group for junior and senior high students, meets at the church every Wednesday night at 6:30. Check out the youth website for up to date information on all the youth activities.

Does Grace Chapel have a mission statement?
Yes. The mission of Grace Chapel is to increase the worship of God by making more and better disciples. Therefore, we work together to go near and far with the Gospel message and to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Does Grace Chapel have small groups?
Yes, we have groups that meet in homes and other locations around the Valley. See our Small Groups Page for more information.
