From the Sunday Celebration Services to the many activities and meetings that take place during the week, there are plenty of opportunities for people at Grace Chapel to meet and interact with each other. But we are concerned with far more than just making acquaintances. If our relationships do not affect us beyond the walls of this church or go deeper than handshakes in the foyer we are not following the plan of Christ for His Church.
The scriptural obligations we have toward one another (Rom. 12:10,16; Col 3:16; Heb. 10:24) simply cannot be carried out unless we share our lives with others. In addition, the purposes God has designed us for, such as evangelism, discipleship, and ministry to the Body of Christ, cannot be fulfilled by individuals in isolation. Because of this, we desire that everyone at Grace Chapel commit themselves to connecting to supportive and outward-focused small groups.
Our small groups are disciple-making communities which endeavor to reach the unchurched, meet individual needs, develop each person according to their God-given gifts, and raise leaders to sustain the growth of the church. Like healthy body cells, our small groups are designed to grow and multiply.
Types of small groups
Grace Chapel small groups are designed to allow flexibility in the structure, format, agenda, and activities of each group. Our groups meet in homes and other places across the Valley and connect people around shared interests, similar life situations, ministry participation, and/or geographic closeness. We have groups specifically for women, men, youth, families, and more.
Use the links on the small group home page to find a group that best meets your needs and fits into your schedule. Or, use this form to let us help you find a small group.
